So I have a client on a screen in my livingroom that shows my two foscam cameras tuned into my kids. This morning I noticed that, even though the kids were out of bed, they were both still happily snoring away on the screen. Both streams had frozen, as if connectivity to Homeseer had been lost.
Only connectivity wasn't lost - I have events to switch to a blank screen and switch back to the camera screen. They still worked. So I rebooted the client computer from power off. The screens came back, still on the cached image.
I ended up rebooting the *homeseer* server, at which point streams were restored.
Any idea what might be happening? Just so I can work on how to mitigate more easily.
