    Power Failure Assistance needed

I have been having power failure problems related to T-storms. My HS3 is running in a VM on Windows 2012 server. I replaced UPS with larger unit dedicated to this server only. This has resolved my PC shutdown issues. I now have a new problem. When power fails for any reason the server is alive and good(this is good news), but I seem to be loosing connection to my UPB PIM. I don't know how to resolve this problem.

Any help is appreciated. Any advice or best practices. I'm sure I can learn and do things better.

    Regards,
    Chris

I take it this doesn't happen to other folks...pulling my hair out. Every storm is creating this situation.

How can you send powerline commands with no power line?

yep, i'm pretty sure others have had this issue to. I think i remember seeing where someone had written a script to fire off of the ups detecting an outage restore to restart the upb plugin and re-establish coms.

Tenholde- this is the exact problem. No power line communications. Turns out it is all com ports after digging into the issue further.

ORNVM- got a name for that script? Or maybe know how to create it?
