Insteon Micro dimmer 2442 flashing

I have just installed a micro dimmer (2442-522) behind one of my switches.
I am having some issues with it flashing in time with insteon traffic on the hub (2242-522).
It seems to be less apparent on 100% but is unbearable at any other dim level.
I am about to replace it with another module to see if that fixes it, but wanted to know if this is a known issue? Firmware/hardware?
Has anyone else had issues with these dimmers?

I had a similar issue with that micro dimmer after a year of use. When I turned on the light, it would flash on/off ~1/sec. or so. I eventually swapped it out with a Micro Dimmer 2442-222 V4.3, so far it's working, for now.

How did you determine the version level? In the plugin it indicates firmware 48, but on the device it shows 5114 REV 1.A.
