Majionlord - MIMO Lite for Power Fail

    Majianlord,

You were logged in as a guest and I could not reply to your private message. Below is my response to your question

I am using a contact output on the DC power supply that powers the repeater equipment. The contact closes when AC power fails. I had originally planned on using a set of dry contacts from a 120VAC relay which would be plugged into a power outlet, this would also work.

The MIMO Lite has a power fail detect circuit but it is not reliable. If power drops too fast the MIMO will not send the power fail message.

    Power Outage Notification

Thanks Bob, Ok We don't have anything already in place that has this, But we were thinking of using something like this..

Sorry for the account issue I signed up to post the question and my account was denied at first try, Either way I am hopeing one of these 2 items with the MIMOliteUS would do the trick, But as I am not a Nerd and have very little Power skills don't wana blow up my mimo with the wrong type of relay,

      Hi majionlord

The first item listed from Amazon will work fine. Just connect the dry contacts to the Contact Input on the MIMO Lite. A $5.00 - $10.00 120VAC relay will do the same thing but this is packaged in a wall plug and is fool proof.

Here is a sample relay that will do the job. Just connect the coil to a power plug with spade lugs and then the normally closed contacts to the MIMO.
