    I am also exploring another way that would involve using a monitor with close to zero bezel, like the LG monitors and putting a mirrored surface on that itself under the touch screen surface.

      I've already told my wife that the next bathroom remodel will have a mirror with a monitor behind it. Doesnt need to be touchscreen, just need to 'push' content to it while getting ready in the morning. A Pi2 with a cheap HDMI monitor would be perfect.
