    Figaro smoke Sensor Log message

I am a bit new to z-wave and homeseer and have recently purchased some devices. When I was testing my Fibaro Smoke sensor and checked the log it showed.

Z-Wave Error Node Change Event for Node 20 on Network 0184E096, CC=COMMAND_CLASS_NOTIFICATION_V3 but no valid devices were found. (71-05-00-00-00-FF-01-02-00-61)

    What does this mean?

    Hi Steve,

It typically means that one of the child devices in HS3 is not properly created. Was there a Notification child device created for it? If so, and you get that message regularly, I would delete that child device and rescan. The smoke sensor will need to be awake during the rescan. If that doesn't work, delete the root device from HS and re-import from the z-wave controller page. Again, the smoke sensor should be awake and close to your controller when you do this.

    Cheers
    Al

Many thanks Al. That is a pity as I had just got the device to finally send the signal I wanted after a number of attempts.
