Like Morton said, if you want to control devices outside of the hue bridge, you have to accept the delay for now. So Only use it for non crucial lights (the ones you need when entering rooms), otherwise irritation for slowness kick in pretty fast
There are several requests at philips to allow sensors and switches to directly talk to outside addresses. But no response on that point....
Untill then, we have to wait what HST is planning to use for communication with zigbee. If they want to hit the market, I think they should create a device like Z-Net, or better, combine it
