    In-Window Blinds

Anyone have any knowledge on this product?

Z-Wave bridge. Looks expensive but I've placed a request for an in-house quote.

According to the info on this page http://insynctive.pella.com/home-automation-system it's compatible with Wink, Savant, and Nexia. But since it's z-wave, maybe it could be made to work with HS.

Sounded to me like you still need their bridge though. That suggests to me that the devices themselves are not Z-wave (some other rf protocol I guess) and that the hub converts to Z-Wave for communication with HA systems

That's the way I interpret it also.

These days I only am dealing with Pella windows because they have a large presence in my area and their windows have gotten MUCH better in recent years (from an energy efficiency perspective they are beating out Marvin and all the other affordable triple pane options). So naturally I've gotten many quotes on their in window shades and have spoken with their engineers on the interface. So here's what I've been told: They are 100% compatible with HomeSeer HS3 and the Z-Net. Take it with a grain of salt. Also they prices on these windows are plain stupid. To top it off the blind inside raises the U value of the glazing so you loose energy efficiency. The approach I'm taking is to build the interior window trim to accommodate a roller shade in a black out fashion. When you bet new windows you need new trim any way.
