Does your Homeseer have a name?

    Hi All,

i was just sitting here setting up an event, and every time i have the system send me an email i always end it with Jane, which is a reference to Ender's Computer friend in the Enders Game series of books.

now i already know i am slightly crazy but does anyone else do this?

My wife and I are big Resident Evil fans and instead of calling our HA system "Red Queen" we just called it "Alice". We don't have the HS Speaker too active in our house yet, but eventually that's what we'll be using to prompt Homeseer.

Mine doesn't have a name yet (other than some of the aforementioned unprintable ones). I will need one once I start doing voice activation. I was leaning towards Jarvis.

I am glad it does not answer the other names I sometimes call it.

We call ours Floyd. It just seemed like the right name. Possibly inspired by the original TTS voice.
