    Utilitech Glass break security sensor

Does anyone have/use it. I saw this at lowes and considering getting one from my reading it is a z wave device.

    Thoughts?

Yeah this is one item I'm going to add to my the all z-wave security I'm putting in now. I've read good reviews about it and talked to a few who have the exact same sensor but its made only for the 2gig security system.

So it is one of my "need to get" items that I have plans for.

What do you mean by it's only made for the 2gig system? I'm familiar with it, or is there a different model for 2gig?

so both utilitech model and 2 gig use the same glass break sensor, but the utilitech model communicates via z-wave. The 2-gig model communicates via whatever protocol 2gig uses for security( think its the same as the honeywell/ademco systems)
