    "X10 Plugin" Preset Dim Workaround

Working on Bug 3026 and discovered that Preset Dim commands can be sent over the powerline, however there are some caveats:
Create a new device and on the X10 tab assign the House Code, Unit Code and set the Device Type to "PreSet" (as usual).
DO NOT change the slider or button values, just use the stock slider and buttons.

Changing the device slider will send Pdim commands on the powerline, with the exception of Pdim0 and Pdim31 (or Pdim1 and Pdim32 depending on whether your device docs are zero or 1 based).

To send Pdim commands from an event, you MUST change the brightness of the device. DO NOT use the "Send X10" commands as these will not send Pdim commands.

Here is a table of HS3 dim levels as they currently relate to Pdim commands for events. Dimming a device to the HS3 %Brt will send the corresponding Pdim on the powerline.
    Code:
    For	Use
    Pdim	%Brightness
    ----	-----------------
0	0	is broken. Sends OFF command, not Pdim0.
1	1	is broken. Sends DIM DIM DIM ... DIM OFF.
      2	2 - 4
      3	5 - 8
      4	9 - 11
      5	12 - 14
      6	15 - 17
      7	18 - 20
      7	21 - 24
      8	25 - 27
      9	28 - 30
     10	31 - 33
     11	34 - 37
     12	38 - 40
     13	41 - 43
     14	44 - 46
     15	47 - 49
     16	50 - 53
     17	54 - 56
     18	57 - 59
     19	60 - 62
     20	63 - 66
     21	67 - 69
     22	70 - 72
     23	73 - 75
     24	76 - 79
     25	80 - 82
     26	83 - 85
     27	86 - 88
     28	89 - 91
     29	92 - 95
     30	96 - 98
31	99	is broken. Sends BGT BGT BGT...
31	100	is broken. Sends ON command, not Pdim31.
If you get a chance, please give this a try and report what you find!

If you're not out on the edge, you're taking up too much room!

I also discovered that changing the slider to a drop list allows you to select a specific dim level rather than hunting for it with the slider (which causes a sequence of preset dim commands to be sent during the 'hunt').
