Aeon labs energy meter v1 isn't updating

    Aeon labs energy meter v1 isn't updating

    Hi,

    I just installed a second aeon labs energy meter to monitor the dryer but for some reason its not showing 0 watts, instead its showing strange values.

    I have checked it with a clamp meter and its definitely 0 amps when off.

    Any suggestions?

    I solved this,

    i removed it and readded it. i still wont go to 0 but it will show a large swing when the dryer is on so thats all i care about.

      I have one on my dryer as well. I did see large values like that, but I moved the clamps around to a different position and they went away.

        Yea, i think it is getting a contact "High" from the surrounding cables. it is at least updating now.

        im really only looking for a on off value so its close enough for what i want.,
