Padiolok - new sliding door lock

Stumbled upon this looking for a solution to a sliding glass patio door I must replace. I'm in the position that I could install french doors but the screen solution isn't elegant.

I'm not overly impressed with the 'brass knuckle' latch stud (depending on length), so I am still on the fence which type of door I will install.

Very nice - and hopefully it will be a lot less than the French doors we have in mind.

    Thanks for posting.

We have French doors at one house, and have retractable screens. I really like this brand -- they are "soft retract" so they don't slam back.

KandB - she chose the front door, back door will be a simple sealed venetian style. Budgeting money for ore homeauto gear. Mike - I found those last night. Thanks for the user feedback. Since this padiolok isnt available yet I'm going conventional french door - thx !

Thanks for this tidbit, I've never heard of them and didn't think it would be possible to automate this part of the house.
