    Z-Wave Garage Door Tilt Sensors

Are any of these compatible with Homeseer? Amazon has an Ecolink and there are various Monoprice labeled ones floating around on eBay. Just wondering if anyone has had any experiences with these.

    Thanks much!

    Hi Kurt,

I use this one and it works great with HS: http://store.homeseer.com/store/Ecol...sor-P1786.aspx.

    Cheers

Thanks for the info. A friend gave me one of the Monoprice units (not sure who makes it, but it's not Ecolink) and I can add it to the network. It seems to write to the log when I turn it from upright to down, but it doesn't seem to report/change status. Not really sure what is going on there other than maybe it's just not supported?

I'll probably just order the Ecolink.

      Thanks!

I just bought two of the same device.
The first one installed easily and I have 4 different events already set up for it - just LOVE it!
I had previously tried using an X-10 Powerflash connected to a pair of magnetic reed switches on the door (because I had this legacy stuff around). But the garage door was subject to too much movement causing the sensors to part and trip false events on me.

These tilt sensors are outstanding - they even report on the battery life so you can make events to handle low-battery situations.
