    Foscam P2P Flaw

Saw this article on another forum and wanted to share. I know there was a discussion earlier about the security of IOT and this one is kinda concerning to me and changing my way of thinking a bit. I suspect there is a lot of vendors out there doing the same thing and Foscam is just the one currently getting picked on. Tighten down on that network security boys... don't want anyone on the internet knowing when you pick your nose.

Thanks for posting this. I've blocked all my cameras MAC addresses from accessing the net at all. I have no need of outside access on these anyway and the only thing I may have to work a little harder for now is finding firmware updates.

EDIT: And sure enough. As soon as I did that the Firewall log started filling up with internet access denial entries for all of my cameras.

Real courage is not securing your Wi-Fi network.
