Is there a plugin or something? I would be happy to pay for a plugin that will let HS know when the fan is running.

I recently had a Carrier installed with the intention of doing the plugin for HS integration. I tried to apply for access to the API but the reference site email no longer existed. I was very persistent with my dealer with the bottom line being that Carrier walked away from the integration program during Covid. Others that previously obtained access to the API may be able to still gain access, but I suspect the access was given under NDA conditions so they would not be able to share it.

Thanks I am so disappointed, I really wanted to know when the Fan is on. I appreciate the follow up.

Does this help, or do you need something more? Glad to research whatever you need.

It looks promising. Busy supports some other integrations now, but will dive into it in the next week or two.

I believe I saw these references in the past as they look familiar once I started reading.

2 Registering a Client App with the Open API
              a) Contact Carrier at InfinityOpenAPI@carrier.com and request a third-party application registration package for both the Infinity and Evolution Connex controls.
              b) Carrier will provide the complete Documentation Package for the Infinity/Evolution Open API, including the Carrier Open Access Alliance Program Agreement.
              c) Return the completed Program Agreement to begin the approval process.
              d) Upon approval, Carrier will provide* samples of the Carrier Infinity Touch and Bryant Evolution Connex wall controls for your use in developing your application.
              e) Carrier will provide a set of OAuth 2.0 credentials and URLs required for your client app
I tried again sending email to the provided link. We will see. Unless access is approved then it will not be possible to get the login credentials.

My main goal (that my wife really wanted back from our old system), was to have the system turn on and off depending on if the windows/doors were opened (I have a delay of 2 minutes of anything opened before it turns off, so that it doesn't just turn off if you are walking into the house). And return to it's previous state once the house was closed up again. pikashow apk

thank you AVPMAN, it may work if I knew how to use it, anymore I just count on posts of what others did or a Plug-in, but I really appreciate the information.

My office is always hot in the summer and cold in the winter so I installed a duct fan which used to turn on when my old furnace was running and turn off when it stopped. That was with Nest, my new Bryant and thermostat don't let me interface with them.

Unless someone can tell me exactly what to do or give me a plug-in... lol

I did apply with Carrier for access and a developer account. They responded, but the link provided looks to have an expired SSL certificate or something more sinister is happening with the link. I asked them to email the form or provide another mechanism to get it. No response to this follow-up request.

Hi Michael, thank you for your interest in Carrier’s Open Access Alliance Program. To get approved, please fill out and submit the form.

That form looks to have a valid TLS cert to me.

Turns out it was pfBlockerNG on my router that was filtering out the connection. I submitted the form. We will see if I am approved for the integration.
