I have some webcams (foscam variety) that i bring up on hstouch to show their feeds. Because of the generic way in which it gets handled (snapshot.cgi) I'm basically getting snapshot after snapshot, which makes for maybe 2-3 frames per second on my cameras.
The cameras are of course capable of higher quallity streaming (is it mjpeg?), and i have lots of different apps that support it. Not to mention I can send an arbitrary web browser to:
http://idassword@camerahostname/videostream.cgi
And that seems to stream a much higher quality of stream.
So the question is, is there anything I can do to get a higher quality stream through homeseer? Either a plugin or external software that can then be framed somehow? I'd really like to try to find a way to improve the video quality from within hs if I can...
thanks!
Paul
