Anybody else help on the cleanup events? I simply do not have the option to set the status of my virtual device, triggered off a change of state of the tilt switch.

I had this all running with HS3, and then lost everything, including my backups, when I changed to HS4. So I have been reprogramming all of my events, and I just did the garage door. I don't remember how HS3 ran, but I just did this with HS4 and ran into the question you have. I know this was a long time ago, so you may have already figured this out, but I thought I would share my experience.
In HS4, if you select Control a Device, and select your virtual garage door device, you can use the pulldown to set the control to "closed."
Then, when you save it, it shows as a "set device", and not a "control a device".
Don't know if that helps, and this doesn't address the conflicting statuses when in transit, but this does work for me.Comment
