Controlling the light in a range exhaust fan enclusure

I have been converting my home from X-10 to Z-Wave. So far so good. Making my way through the kitchen I have converted all the lights except ONE. It turns out it is our most important light and is the one we turn on first in the morning. ...the light above the stove. It has a Rocket Socket in it that works OK.

Originally I was going to use a Z-Wave bulb, but none fit so I have to automate the switch somehow. An A19 bulb is too wide...

Has anyone automated their stove light switch and if so, how did you do it?

I just put a strip light there instead. Goes on with all my valance lights.

I did try that at one time a little over a year ago. Whenever we boiled something though, it tended to detach. Perhaps I will try it again! Thanks.

I used the one from Lee valley in the channel. Channel is screwed to hold it up!

Those are the ones - worked fantastic. Once diffuser in place, no grease gets on light and easy to clean.
