Homeseer sending emails to Gmail?

Hey guys, I am curious how you guys are getting Homeseer to send out emails for you? I was previously using stunnel and such, but I recently turned on some of the security features within gmail and now Homeseer cannot send email through there as it is not a trusted app "Secure" app.

Thoughts?

I could get it to work with 2fa. So I set up a dedicated light mail server on my HA server that forwards to gmail.

That is kind of what I am thinking of askme, I just wanted to see if there was anyone using anything else before I put up a mail server...:-)

I use ssmtp instead of a running server. I also set gmail up longhanded instead of by the use Gmail radio box in HomeSeer. Why I am not sure any more but I remember at the time there was a reason.
