I hate quoting myself, but since my previous reply was so brilliant...

Just pre-wire in the first place or take the time to run your LV cable through the walls, get some Somfy blinds/shades, and call it a day.

Found MoveZ over a month ago and pulled the trigger back then.

Will be comparing them to Axis Blind hardware once I get both.
MoveZ looks to control more different blind options and been around longer. They are just looking o add the Z-Wave option.
Axis Blind looks 'nicer'.

This reminds me of the bed sensor that was on kickstarter or whatever that everyone was so excited about..... until they started shipping.... a year or so after their proposed date........ and it was garbage.Originally posted by rpradeThere is no rhyme or reason to the anarchy a defective Z-Wave device can cause

Looking at the video, it appears they have already made a Bluetooth version. Does anyone know how well that device was made?--------------------------------------------------

OTH, mysmartblind is only $100 but is bluetooth which will require their bridge $90 that's soon to be released to work to work with GH, Alexa etc... but it's not guaranteed to work with HS since we'll still need some smart HS folks to make a plugin for it to work with HS.
