    Homeseer HS3 Pro computer

    Hi all,

I bought HS3 Pro last year during the sale. We finished building our home a few months ago and now I'm finally ready to tackle some home automation. What I have:

Dedicated wiring closet with rack, 48 port gigabit switch, about 90 cat6 drops all over the house (I know... overboard).

12v power supply boxes for motorized shades (Rollertrol motors installed and working for all shades, but no zwave controller yet)

Every room wired for speakers (whole home audio)

    Trane Zwave thermostat

    Schlage Zwave doorlocks

Ademco Vista Security system (house is wired, but no panel yet)

Chamberlain MyQ garage door opener (not sure if this is compatible with Homeseer)

    First Alert Z-Combo G units

    Amazon Echo

    Future additions:

    Homeseer Zwave switches, outlets
    Lighting control
    Foscam IP Cameras
Whole home audio (Sonos, HTD direct.... ????)

... and more as I learn.

I'd like to put a NUC in my wiring closet for Homeseer and possibly BlueIris (later). Please excuse my ignorance, but I can't figure out how to access HS3 on the NUC from another computer in the house. I'd rather not put a monitor/keyboard in the wiring closet. I'm sure there's something that I'm missing.

Do I need anything more than this: NUC Kit NUC6i3SYH BOXNUC6I3SYH, 16GB memory, 250gb 2.5 SATA SSD?

Is there a small form factor PC that you'd recommend?

My next step is to buy a computer so I can install HS3Pro and start taking baby steps.

Any advice to get me started?

    Thanks all!
Working...
