    Zigbee Device Setup

Any ideas on what I may be doing wrong?

    Thanks

Just wanted to pop this back up to see if anyone had any idea.

HS3 or HS4? Are you using a Zigbee PI?

        Thank you for your response:

I am using HS4 with the Nortek HUSBZB-1 Z-Wave/Zigbee USB Adapter.

Well... I don't know what to tell you as known facts seem to be few and far between. If you go to the HomeSeer Zigbee Plugin for HS4 and drill down to the See guide for instructions and list of compatible devices it is a dead link.

I think the bottom line is:
          • the HS4 Zigbee Plugin is no more than a work in progress right now,
          • at this time I believe there are very few compatible devices (they may have been posted on the forum), and
          • I get the feeling that this isn't way up on the list of HS4 priorities.
I am very enthused about Zigbee, but I have been advised (in this forum; a search may pay dividends) that a RaspBee II, a Raspberry Pi, and the JowiHue plugin combination is the most mature and full-featured route to take. YMMV.

              Update:

The latest Plug-in release fixed this issue. I am able to add both devices now with no issues.

The latest HS Zigbee PI version 4.0.7 does find my 3326-L Motion/Temperature devices which previous version did not find. However, after about an hour the plugin seems to stop communicating with the device. Still not a reliable PI for daily use.

Currently using Hubitat and mcsHubitat PI to communicate with Zigbee and bring the information into HomeSeer. This option has been very reliable with great range on the devices.

Good for you! An authoritative list of compatible devices would still be nice.
