    just a forum thought

i only saw this which says issues...
this isnt an issue but im curious....

we do post pics.. we all love them and i know HST updated the website which has been a nice addition...

im on other forums as well and you can do a screen clip (which is how i get all of my screenshots) and you can actually just paste them into the body of the thread and they insert...
right now i have to save each one, then upload....

just curious if there is a way to easily do this???

This is the most annoying lack of functionality. Please fix it.

vBulletin does not offer this functionality. We would have to move to a completely different forum software to get this feature.

I use Polyview / Polybytes here since the Windows 95 days. The author is retired and today the application is public domain. Just do a print picture of the screen to a paste to Polyview, crop and tweak and save and upload picture.

Here is a clean download of Polyview:

oh i know there are many ways...

          i simply use snagit..

i hit print screen, select area, file, save as...

I was just asking if it was an ability in the current forum version...

as on another forum.. All I do is print screen, select area then paste into the body of a topic.. done... no need to physically save anything...

          but all good

If you are on Windows, the easiest is snipping tool that comes with most versions. Just run, use the mouse to select the area, save and upload.

Here Polyview is working in Ubuntu Linux desktop via PlayonLinux (along with MS Office).

agreed... like said originally... some forums you dont need to save... the body takes the actual clipboard...
