Edit the title of your thread?

If one posts a thread, can the title of the thread/discussion be edited? For example I post a discussion "Help, I can't do XYZ", the problem gets solved, it would be helpful if I could go back and change the discussion title to "Help, I can't do XYZ - SOLVED".

I've poked around and can't see the control that allows this to happen.

    Possible?

Think it is only something a moderator can do as I wanted to change the title of a couple of mine when plugins went out of beta but I couldn't do it.

There is an vBulletin Admin setting that sets a timeout for thread title editing

Admin CP -> Settings -> Options -> Message Posting and Editing Options -> Time Limit on Editing of Thread Title

Maybe macromark can tell us what it is set to.

If you edit your first post, is the title at the top grayed out?

Good point... but yes, it's grayed out and can't be altered. I thought I might have missed something when you mentioned it!
