Limited to 15 posts

I complained about this years ago when I first joined here.
Or, maybe it's just me - ? Is anyone able to receive more than 15 posts per page? If I could scan 40 posts at a time it would be super.
I scan ALL messages regardless of forum / sub forum each visit here. Then, mark the board as "Read".

I have mine set to "40".. It doesn't change at all whenever I attempt to adjust it in my user settings.

Help with this please (other than making me justify why I need to do this)?

I suspect this is somehow designed to help limit unnecessary bandwidth - that's fine.

This behavior is with both Chrome & Firefox.
