    Nortek HUSBZB-1

It's time to add a Sub Forum under the HS Hardware Products / Z-Wave Interfaces for the Nortek HUSBZ-1.

Anyone know what "interface model" should be selected when defining the Z-Wave network in HS4?
Also there does not seem to be a way to copy the existing network onto this stick. The functions from HS3 do not seem to be in HS4.

Interface Model of either 'HomeSeer SmartStick +' or 'ZWave.me UZB' should work.

Once it connects successfully (green checkmark icon), under actions look for 'Restore a network to this interface'.

Yes. The problem is that the restore option does not exist.

My guess is that your HUSBZB-1 is a newer version than mine. In the log, when the controller connects, what firmware version is displayed? Mine is:

Z-Wave HUSBZB: Controller firmware version: 4.32
        Z-Wave HUSBZB: Z-Wave Serial API version: 5
Restore is supported only for selected controllers/versions. They have chosen to ignore this deficiency for quite awhile.

Try "Erase this interface and Create a New Network" first,
and see if the restore then shows up.

Tried to do the "Receive from another controller" function and the interface generated an error that it could not enter learn mode. After doing the "Erase this interface and create a new network" function it would then go into learn mode but the send function on the working controller would time out without transferring the data. I did the erase function, Starting and stopping both the interface and the plugin before and after erase and magically, the Restore function showed up. The restore function worked correctly and the system is up and running.

Thank you to the Forum Members and to Matt at HS Support for your help

To reiterate my first statement to the moderators - It's time to add a Sub Forum under the HS Hardware Products / Z-Wave Interfaces for the Nortek HUSBZ-1.
Also a sticky of troubleshooting / how to would be helpful.
