Can not access forum post attachments

I show logged in and I found nothing amiss in my forum settings. The forum post paperclip icons don't appear to be active other than to show how many attachments when you hover over one. A left click does nothing and a right click brings up an option list for the whole web page. I am using MS Edge and IE. Any ideas what I have done wrong? Thanks

Some 'attachments' are actually just links to files on other systems. Are you seeing this behavior for all links or just some?
    Have you tried another browser?

Specifically, I was trying to download some status icons made available by MacroMark. I have not tried other browsers. I will download Chrome and Safari and see if that makes a difference. Thanks for replying.

It could be that the server hosting the the files is offline. If you post a link to the macromark post for the icons, others may be able to test.

It's the second sticky post under How To's.

Have you tried right-clicking on each image and select 'save image as'?
