    Disable visitor messages

Hi! Is there a way to disable visitor messages?

Many users think they are some kind of PM, and when users request help with a plugin they often leave personal information in a visitor message. I would like to avoid that by disallowing visitor messages being send to me... if that is possible?

    Thanks!

I think visitor messages should be disabled across the board. Many people don't seem to know the difference between a Private Message and a Visitor message.

I have answered Visitor Messages before but the OP then can't find the response and complain that I did not answer them! Disabling would force people to use Private Messaging which is much preferred.

+1 Disabled. Sometimes I get requests for help even in a PM that really should be a forum post. I ask that the person post it to the forum so others can comment and others can benefit from the discussion vs. answering the same question multiple times via PM. I feel for you and Jon as developers.
