How to cut and paste log data to board posts?

trying to cut and paste log data from HS2 web Log page to foirum.. and it doesn't work as i would expect.

I tried the [code] and [php] tagss... and nothing seems to work..
It seems to just do one line

Are you opening the HomeSeer.log file for your cut and paste?

No... Just highlighting from HS web interface log page...
It would prob work from the text log file... Didn't think of that,

It's probably something having to do with c&p from web page..

I've found that if I first paste into Notepad, then I can usually copy and paste from there into a message pane without a problem.

If there are log entries with strings with images then it doesn't work.

I usually then do a screen grab/picture of the log entry.

Kind of like UM, I also use something to strip out all the HTML goodies...

Now, instead of control-V, I use Window-V, which basically does the same thing as opening Notepad, pasting into there, then copying and re-pasting. This takes care of all that for you.
