  • Device Images - Why aren't there any?

It's just such little thing but I sure wish that that HS would at least put all of their device images into the builds. And maybe even some other manufactures that they sell.

It would probably be difficult to do this and make it consistent across all the different devices from different manufactures.

What image would be displayed for each device? If you had for example a WD100 or WD200 would you want the image to be the same as a dimmer from GE or Lutron or Fibaro? What if it was a paddle style switch vs a old school toggle type switch? Or a dimmer plugin module or a Fibaro micro switch? It would probably be a nightmare for HomeSeer to manage this.

Basically use what ever photo that looks good. It's not that I mind finding and setting up photos to use. What really bugs me is that there isn't a fast way to add them.

What HS could to to make this easy is add an option to change multiple devices images just as you can change multiple devices Room, Group and other parameters. So that way I could check all of the boxes for those devices that I want to change then select the image I want it to use. Then HS3 could make the change. That way you could set all of the images in just a few minutes instead of the hours it takes currently.

It's not like the basic mechanism isn't already in place, it just need images added.

Common HS help us out here. We'll put the images together and give them to you to add to the install package.

There’s a plugin called DTSDeviceImages that allows you to set multiple devices at once: https://forums.homeseer.com/forum/ho...images-at-once
        HS 3.0.0.548: 1965 Devices 1146 Events
        Z-Wave 3.0.1.262: 122 Nodes on one Z-Net
