Challenges with NANO related to Switch numbers and wattage

After waiting for months to get an Aeotec NANO dimmer, I had to return it because, per their tech support, it cannot function with circuits that have (in my case) five switches or are more than 30 feet apart. I still think it is a quality product but, I hope they provide more data so that other can make informed decisions.

My issue, I have five (5) switches controlling the lights on our back deck. Based on my research this is a 3-way, three 4-ways, and a 3-way. Now that I know that the NANO will not work, I am looking for a cost effective way to automate (on/off) control of this circuit. I hope others have solved this and look forward to reading responses.

    Thank you.

    +1, also in need of a 2-in-1 light/fan switch for a 1-gang box.

I received the email stating companions were in stock. I quickly went and submitted an order for 7 companions and a bunch of other stuff.

Nothing worse then recommending to a friend or needing a product yourself that you can't buy or is not available.

I do have 4 different plug-in models and the best by far is the Aeon Gen 6. Essentially, I'd like that functionality (not too concerned about the LED) but built-in. An enhanced version of the Cooper, Enerwave, GE ones if you will.

Looks like the Enerwave Plus model has most of what I want. Think I'll try one of those.

Actually, we let Moe, Larry and Curly work the controls for a while!
