I hope they don't go too fas as I can't order for about a weekish.
BTW, are the LEDs numbered 1,3,5,7 or 1,2,3,4?HomeSeer Version: HS3 Standard Edition 3.0.0.548

I'm not sure which way I hoping to see the order. Having it 1,2,3,4 put them in numerical sequence but 1,3,5,7 would have put them in the same physical positions. At least the order which it isHomeSeer Version: HS3 Standard Edition 3.0.0.548

I have always wondered why HS just did not put 7 LEDs on the FC200 and WS200. It would be useful in situations where the switch or fan controller were the only device in eye-shot. For example most of the lights in my basement are fluorescent so I used WS200s. The WS200 only has 1 LED so that prohibits using it to monitor status.

We didn't design the 200 series units from the ground up. We based it on the 100 series where the LEDs were used only for load status.
Currently we can either select all devices or single devices so if you want to do anything other than set all the LEDs the same you have to program all devices thus making an event more complex. Not not knowing how this was programmed in HS3 and the devices could we have predefined groups? This would be done at the LED level so I could assign LED 7 on three switches to group LED7A and LED 7 on 4 other devices to group LED7B then reference one of those groups when setting LEDs.
This is basically rambling at this point to come up with some ideas.
EDIT:
Actually I looked at the layout of the command again. Where you now select the device allow for group so you'd have All, Group followed by the devices. If you select Group then you enter the group name. In the group entry would be the Device name, Action type, LED Number, LED Color and Blink for how every many devices are in that group. So when you execute the command the devices would be programmed from the group data. This would allow for mixing devices such as WS200, WD200 and FC200. Again this needs more thinking as it just some ideas.Last edited by Timon; September 29, 2018, 08:19 AM.HomeSeer Version: HS3 Standard Edition 3.0.0.548
