1) Is it possible to adjust / increase the sensitivity of the motion detector? My 2 dogs (~20 lbs each) do not trigger, so I have to step outside whenever I want the lights to come on. I've moved the sensor every way possible and had no luck. Works fine for full grown adult, but not the dogs.
2) My light stays on for 20 seconds if it detects motion. I updated the "On Time" in settings to 600 seconds (in SmartThings), and it still goes off after 20 seconds.
I'm thinking I'll have to return the item for a refund since I bought this for the dogs. And not being able to adjust the on time is not cool with the wife either.
I'm using the HS-FLS100+ in the most basic way it was designed - hooked up to a new floodlight, installed the SmartThings device handler, paired it to my zwave network, figured out the hard way to get it out of test mode (by moving the dials off their minimums). I can turn it on and off via smartthings, but that's about it.
Any ideas? Do I have a defective unit? Defective brain?
