    G2 Wayward Children - No light/load control

I installed 7 FLS100+ gen 1 several months ago and 6 have been fairly reliable. But one of the 6 filled up completely with water during a recent storm (how does that happen?) and shorted out. I could hear it frying before I disconnected power. I bought 2 G2's and replaced the fried gen 1.

I don't know if I am missing something or if the sensor is missing something, but the G2 has no light control child. Node 8 below is one of the old FLS100 and Node 9 is the G2. Where is my On/Off control? I also can't get to Settings (greyed out), and auditing the node gives me
"This node supports associations on the following groups:
Node is missing Association Groups information."

I've tried removing and re-adding the device with no love.

Got it. Deleted the node (again), reset the FLS to factory (again), ran 40' cat5 to end of house to get ZS2 close to FLS, and reinitialized FLS (again). I now have a light switch.

Does the sensor device actually work or are you using it only as a light switch? I have a G2 and it has NEVER worked.

After deleting the node, resetting the FLS, and reinitializing with the ZS2 close to the G2, it works as advertised. When first brought to life, all of the sensor children were functional except for the most important one: the controllable light switch. Now they all work.
