I recently purchase ten LS100 sensors to shut off water using a WaterCop Water Valve when water is detected. I want to use the Group 2 association to do this, rather than do this via HomeSeer. This ensures the valve is triggered even if HomeSeer crashes or doesn't respond. This is all supported by the LS100 through the sending of the Basic Set command.
Once the water valve is closed, I don't want the sensor to send a Basic Set "cleared" command to Group 2 to re-open the valve (possibly re-starting a leak while one is away), but I do want Group 1 (HomeSeer) to receive a cleared command.
I also have Fibaro FGFS-101 water sensors, and they handle this using a configuration parameter (Parameter 9) which has a setting 0 which disables the sending of the Alarm Cancellation to the Group 2 devices. I'd like to see a similar capability in the LS100. If it is already there, its not clear from the user's which parameter to use.
