Parameter definition for "Enable Binary Sensor for Motion"

Has anyone figured out what the "Enable Binary Sensor for Motion" parameter does? There is one mention of it in the forums and it was unanswered. The manual has nothing on it.

Posted a whole year ago and no one has time to answer the question. I am lost trying to get my MS-100's working the way they use to and having no success at all. This is not goo.

Don't know what it does but it needed to be disabled for you motions to work. I have a test network set up to play with things away from my main network and when I enabled that feature, my motions stop working. I am not sure it has always been that way but with later releases of HS4, it needs to be disabled for the motions to work. I tried it on battery and power and it did not matter.
