Access to Zee in a SSH (Putty) session

Is it possible to connect to the Zee in a SSH or telnet session directly ?
I thought I read this somewhere but can't find the thread now.

Yes - you can use PuTTY to connect with SSH (port 22).

      SSH to Zee

      Ok maybe a few hints
Like what username did you use (I tried root (or su) with the password I supplied at startup
      No Luck
Yes I know the ip address to the Zee and I did get a login prompt

      Any other suggestions

Thinking I used Homeseer or Admin with the Homeseer password.

I then changed the root password and now use root. I changed it while sshing to the Zee.

I think too when you connect an HDMI monitor it defaults auto logging in (don't remember).

I just went to the Zee and to the Linux tools section. I typed "whoami" and it said I was root.

Have you changed the password there to something else?

A Zee out of the box will have a user of homeseer and a password of hsthsths3.
You should change this password as well as your root password.
You are prompted to change the password when you first access the Zee over http.

Logging into the Zee via SSH

So the username was homeseer and the password was what I set at initialization

              Thanks for the help
