    Zee disappeared from network

I accidentally hit a power switch on my UPS which shut down my Zee.

Now, it's gone from the network and I can't find it.

    I have tried:

    1. find.homeseer.com
    2. IP scanner from 192.168.2.1 - 192.168.2.254 (it used to be ".71")

The Zee was still defaulted to DHCP. It was running software version .34 I believe.

Anything else I might try to get it going?

Did you try connecting a monitor and review the settings?

Download HSDiscover from the http://www.homeseer.com/downloads/ page.
If you Zee is on the network, it should find it.

If not, you might have to plug the Zee directly to a laptop/netbook and see if you can find it in the arp tables.

        Thanks guys.

I was unaware of HSDiscover, thanks for the tip!

However, I had to hook it up to a monitor and see that initialization stops with:

        EXT4-fs error (etc.)

Guess I'll be learning about re-imaging the SD card. Does that sound like the next step?

I thought that the "EXT" file systems were a little more robust than getting hosed by a single unexpected power loss.

        Thanks again for the help.
