    Zee update Z-Wave Z-net drivers

Playing with the Zee most current drivers and noticed that they do not include the HomeSeer Z-Net device.

The old Z-Troller and Aeon stick worked fine. It would be nicer though to also include the new Z-Net device in the Z-Wave configuration.

    Bugzilla - Bug 2695 - Homeseer Zee doesn't include Z-Net Z-Wave drivers

We are working on a release, but not really sure why you would add a Z-NET to a Zee?

Anyway, you can still use the Z-NET, just select "Ethernet" for your interface, enter the IP of your Z-NET and set the port to 2001.

      Thank you Rich.

Adding Z-Net to a Zee would extend the RF footprint of the Zee.

Do the current Zee Z-Wave drivers work with Z-Wave Plus?

Testing here with the RaZberry GPIO interface didn't show any of the Z-Wave plus devices on the current Zee Z-Wave drivers.

      See here.

I am looking at updating the Zee here to an RPi2 with a new Z-Wave Plus GPIO card rather than utilizing the Aeon stick that originally came with it.

I can run the Linux HS3 Z-Wave drivers plugin on the Zee right now talking to my HS3 Pro on Linux and it works well with Z-Wave plus.

Updating the current Zee Z-Wave drivers to using Z-Wave Plus would be beneficial to the Zee stand alone set up. (2nd home et al type of stuff).

It would also add some longevity to the original Homeseer 3 Zee. (IE: upgrading it to an RPi2 / GPIO Z-Wave plus card). - little steroidal injection of sorts....

There is a Beta build available for the Zee, update your zee using SSH to build 162 and you will get the latest Z-Wave plugin that supports Z-Wave+.
