  • Rapid reported battery level decline in hsm100

We have 20 HSM100 sensors installed, and we have just encountered a weird problem.

One HSM100 was reporting a 98% percent battery level on July 2nd. Suddenly, we saw a rapid decline in the battery level, and by the end of July 4th, it reached zero, and is no longer responding.

Any clue about what might be the issue? Faulty "high" readings, faulty sensor, etc?

From my experience, and other posts here, it seems the battery level stays at 100% for a long time, then rapidly drops.

Basically, once it goes below 100%... replace the batteries. (Low batteries will often cause faulty Motion reports).
