No motion

Being completely new to this stuff i'm sure i'm doing something dumb but for the life of me I cannot get the motion senser to work at all. I have read and re-read the how too's but it will just not register motion.

I have removed and re-added it several times using my Z-Troller, it is in the device list but no go....

ummm, right...Sorry noobee here...please explain.

I just found the assiciations under the device and applied it to the dimmer but now under the status tab the dimmer is listed as unknown.

Well it worked once

Not sure why but the lights came on with motion but failed to turn off. I checked the log and saw an entry saying ,

Deleting event after run: "Delayed Actions Dimmer (delayed action)"

I checked the trigger and the delete after run box was not checked.

The lights off event has a delay of 10 minutes but i waited over an hour...

Yeeah Got motion but...

So i associated the device set it up and tryed to get a little trickier and added luminance to it. I followed the tutorial to a T ( I thought ) but the light keeps coming on even when it is very bright in the kitchen.

Quite a learning curve in this game...
