flakey temp

In looking through my log I saw the following entries during a time when no one was home:
1/25/2011 4:59:19 PM Device Update Device: 2nd Floor Stairway ZMulti Temp value set to 64.5 (6450/F)
1/25/2011 4:59:21 PM Device Update Device: 2nd Floor Stairway ZMulti Temp value set to 70.9 (7090/F)

The temp was actually around 70 but within a few seconds changed 5 degrees. This brings up reliability concerns with the whole sensor!

Is the sensor near an A/C vent or in direct sunlight? That might cause some false readings.

No not near direct sunlight and not even close to any vent.
I also just saw this in the log today with no one home and pretty constant light between the times listed whicgh are EST.
