    Screen Control Added to New Tabletop Project

    We've updated the tabletop project to include a new button to turn the screen off and on again. This is a perfect addition for anyone wishing to use the unit in a bedroom. We will post the change to the Android Play store next week. Here's a video of the new feature in action:

    But why can't the WFTT07 automatically dim the screen out of the box as the IWAC07 did? The IWAC07 also out of the box hid the bottom bar thus allowing full screen access for the application but the newer WFTT07 doesn't.

    It seems this is a feature decline...

      There are Android apps that can dim the screen after a time if that's what you want but... if you're using the unit for information (like the weather or status of devices), you probably want the screen to be active all the time. This unit is also very well suited for running other apps at the same time and the task bar at the bottom makes it very easy to switch between apps.
