Is there a way to change the voice on the wftt07 to match that of my main HS controller?

Thinking of using these as a speaker for some of my rooms, but right now it is a different voice. Microsoft Mary or whatever.

These should use the voice that is set as the default voice on your HS system. Change your systems default voice to what HS uses and it should work.

Where in HS3 do you set a default voice. I have set the speaker client on my HS system to use the proper voice, but I do not see a global setting. My HS system is using the proper voice.

HSTouch does not use the speaker client or its settings. You need to change the default voice in your OS speech control panel settings.

Here is what I use in my speak text:
<voice required='Name=Cepstral Allison'>It is now $$time.

This changes the voice on both my iPAD and my WFTT07. Seems to me that it didn't work before, but I'm now at HS 3.0.0.96 and it is working now.

In fact, I actually have 4 Cepstral voices (Lawrence, David, Millie, Allison) and every 10 minutes, I set a virtual device string with the voice required value for a random voice selection.. that way I don't get tired of hearing the same voice all the time.

Then my speak text looks like this:
<$$DSA:CurrentVoice:>It is now $$time.
