    Move Devices between Z-Net Controllers

What's the best way to move a Z-Wave device from one Z-Net controller to another without having to delete and recreating the device within HomeSeer?

I think you will have to delete and recreate the device.

I may not be understanding what you want to do, but on the z-wave tab of the device, there is a pull-down menu to set the controller ("Remote Interface to Use"):

I change the interface to use quite often on devices by this method. In my case I have a main Z-Net and a few others spread around my house.

Are you wanting to create a second Z-Wave network separate from your existing network?

I think it depends on how your znet's are set up.

If they are on separate / unique home IDs, then delete and add is your only option.

If same home ID, then you can just move to a separate znet as stated by Richel.

Each setup has their own pro's and cons.
