    Cameras not showing up

    Updated to hs3 .470 Now my cameras don't show up on mobile app. Hstouch still works with cameras .
    rstp used to work on previous mobile version.
    hstouch however does not handle rstp correctly in either versions... strange

      Can you please fill out the following URL with your information, navigate to it, save the output to a text file, and send it to me in a private message?

      https://connected2.homeseer.com/JSON?request=getcameras&user=<USERNAME>&pass=<PASSWORD>&lice nseid=<LICENSE>

      or

      http://<SYSTEM_IP_ADDRESS>/JSON?request=getcameras

      Thanks for your patience.

        For me, the cameras show up but when I click a camera for the live view I get the spinning circle.

          There were two random generated camera entries on hs3. The entries were named with random characters which is a mystery. I managed to delete one and blank out the other,
          now cameras show up the the mobile app. The one blank entry remains on my cameras page and I cannot delete it.

              I also don't see the cameras, this is the report to getallcameras;
              Code:
              {"Name":"HomeSeer Cameras","Version":"1.0","Cameras":[{"Name":"Back Door","ID":"http://","SnapShot":"","SupportsPanTilt":false},{"Name":"Front Door","ID":"Front Door","SnapShot":"http://","SupportsPanTilt":false},{"Name":"Shed","ID":"http://","SnapShot":"","SupportsPanTilt":false},{"Name":"UnNamed","ID":"UnNamed","SnapShot":"http://","SupportsPanTilt":false}]}
              To me the issue is just that the URL is missing - mine are definitely in the HS cameras page but are missing from the JSON response.

                Managed to get my cameras working locally but when I enter url for wan in setup, they don't work. I see there's automatic setup with wansview now in version .500 great job works well.
                Wish there was a way to extract or show the local url that way we could figure out how to connect wan.

                  Has this been resolved?

                    JLDubz Do I need to have HS Touch enabled to get cameras working in HS Mobile? I don't use HS Touch and have no plans to do so. Cameras are not working in Mobile and when I run this command:
                    Code:
                    http://<SYSTEM_IP_ADDRESS>/JSON?request=getcameras
                    I get this response:

                    Code:
                    { "Response":"Error, HSTouch disabled" }
                    Thanks

                      Yes, you do.

                      Both HSTouch and HomeSeer Mobile use the same API; so disabling HSTouch features in HS3 will also disable HomeSeer Mobile.

                        My cameras work fine locally where my Homeseer server resides. If I point to a camera on a different network they do not show up. My URLs are correct I think.
                        I could have something wrong so maybe the wording in hs3 setup could reveal the urls used to access local cameras (it would aid in pointing to a wide area network location).

                          Can you use designer somehow to read camera urls?
