it states on the link thread to 'restore' the interface, how is this done?
    Plugins> Z-wave > Controller Management > click on your controller >

Then you will see "Back Up This Interface" and "Restore A Network to This Interface"

Hi, found back up interface, but not "restore a network to the interface" nothing even resembling a restore function
Using the aeon z stick, white usb with button that flashed 3 colours while plugged in ( red, yellow, blue)

I've checked about you shouldn't poll those motion sensors so often. Put them back to their default reporting rate -see their manual. 3-4 devices that have 2-3min polling is fine, but others shouldn't be more than 5-8mins if not more. This is how I have my network(large 80 devices) and this seems to be HSTech consensus. Polling depends on your network, devices, and if you have old vs newer device or a mix. As a rule, limit polling unless there is no other way.

Ok its been awhile since I used a z-stick. Yeah they don't have restore function.

Plugins > Z-wave > Controller Management > Click your Interface > Restart This Interface

        Wait

Plugins > Z-wave > Controller Management > Click your Interface > Import Node Info & Rescan

        Wait

        In same menu Test Connectivity.
If no errors, then you're done.
If there are problem, do Full Optimization( there may still be some errors).

Plugins > Z-wave > Controller Management > Click your Interface > Restart This Interface

Then use your devices, turning them on off. The devices will communicate with each other and over time rebuild your network. If after a day or two you still have slow communication, do another Full Optimization.
