    HS2 - HS3 Upgrade X10 Triggered Events

I am in the process of upgrading to HS3 and it would seem some functionality that was available with HS2 is not available with HS3, specifically the ability to trigger an event based on receiving X-10 Extended Codes. I was using this feature with an old Stanley Garage Door monitor, albeit ancient but it still works like a charm.

' The door sensor sends a an extended command when the door is open or closed
    ' The command format is:
    '
    ' [house][device][door code][29]
    '
' the [door code] is as follows:
    '
    ' 16 or 18 for door 1 closed
    ' 17 or 19 for door 1 open
    ' 32 or 33 for door 2 closed
    ' 34 or 35 for door 2 open

From what I can determine, there is no way to trigger an event based on reception of an X10 Extended Code, is this correct?
If so, is there a reason why this functionality was dropped?

Any thoughts on how I can keep using the Stanley Garage Door monitor with HS3?

    Thanks.

Thinking that Mark's CM11A Homeseer 3 plugin covers extended X10 codes just fine.

Install the plugin and enable debug and watch the transport. Should work fine.

I still utilize X10 today for my Christmas lighting outdoor stuff using the old Black and Decker Freewire outdoor modules and still utilize X10 wireless stuff.

Here over the years migrated the garage stuff over to the Leviton Omni Pro 2 alarm panel and wired all of the sensors.

Just recently tinkering with a modified SonOff WiFi basic which has open / closed garage door reed sensors, temperature sensor and garage door button which works well these days and is as fast as the Leviton wired Omni Pro stuff.

Here is the Homeseer stuff (variables)

Put together a status screen on HSTouch using HSDesigner last week. It is primitive as I am not really good at this stuff.

Here using HSTouch running on embedded windows touchscreens and have MS SAPI enabled on same said touchscreens.

You should also ask this question in the X10 forum, where Mark Fisher is more likely to see it.
