    pause between spoken words

when telling homeseer to say something in a event is there to pause (by time) between 2 words
ex. washer is done, wait 10 seconds then washer is done
    Thank you, Tj

You can use the SAPI tag: <silence msec='500'/> where the time is in ms. 10000 would be 10 seconds.

If you want to delay speaking for more than a few seconds, you should probably use a Wait Action and another speak action or put additional speak elements in a secondary event and call it with a delay.

Explain exactly what you want to happen and I’m sure that you will get event suggestions.

I figured it out, after the trigger i put in a wait, it lets you specify time, then the spoken words, I got my dryer to send a pulse when starting put that into an event, inserted wait 0,1,10
the time it takes it to finish the anti wrinkle section the speak the dryer is done,
thank you for the replay rprade
